William Corso, age 79, of Round Lake, died Monday, April 13, 2015, at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest.
He was born November 27, 1935 in Chicago to Claudio and Lillian (Ruzicka) Corso. On October 3, 1981, he married Diane L. Wicker in Chicago.
Formerly of Arlington Heights, William was a resident of Round Lake since 2002. Prior to retirement, he enjoyed a career in sales to grocery distributors at Advantage Sales in Arlington Heights for over 30 years.
In his leisure time, he enjoyed reading, playing cards, and cooking. He loved the companionship of his two “granddogs”, Miata and Chickie.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Diane; a daughter, Bonnie (Wesley) Tharp of Streamwood; and three sisters, Lenore Dispensa, Joan Anderson, and Marie Iaccino.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Vincent, Claude, and Arthur; and a sister, Claudia.
There will be no visitation. Services were private.
