William Harold Weyland born September 22, 1953, died February 4, 2022.

William (Bill), 68 of McHenry passed away surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 22, 1953, the first child of William and Rita Weyland. Bill was a lifelong McHenry resident. On April 8, 1973, he married the love of his life Gina Lippert. Along his life’s journey he was the plant manager of Nu Metal Products in Crystal Lake, IL for 50 years. His talents for music were unmatched. Listening, playing, and creating was his happy place. A diehard Cubs fan you could always find him sitting on his patio in the summer listening to the games on the radio. He was the great observer. Always rooting for his family from afar and near. His support never wavered for anyone’s needs. He had a quirky quick wit about himself that will always be remembered. The most genuine man, and the most simple man, but what he loved most was his wife, children (sons and daughter in law), and grandchildren. He was very proud of the family he and Gina made. The loss of him will never fade from our hearts and will be felt forever.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Gina (Lippert) Weyland and their children; Donovan (Mika) Weyland, Sarah (Jeff) Jacobs, Katrina Weyland (David Brooks), and Molly (Steve) Hansen; 6 grandchildren Walker, Aidan and Ella Weyland, Hannah and Marley Hansen and Ryan (Ashley) Holleran. Siblings: Kristi (Jim) Finnan, John (Shari) Weyland, and Joe Weyland. Aunts Francene Weyland, Judith Svalander, and Uncle Dennis (Janet) Conway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he was lovingly referred to as “Uncle Billy” and whom he adored.

Bill’s wish was to have no services. So instead, please raise a glass of scotch in his memory. A celebration of his beautiful life will be at a later date.
